April/May - La Cueva athletics are partnering with Smith's Food and Drug at La Cueva Town Center to collect donations for the UNM Children's Hospital
May/June - The La Cueva Football program will once again support th efforts of New Mexico's Special Olympians at their largest event, the NM Special Olympics Summer Games, hosted at the UNM Track and Field Stadium.
Players, Coaches and Cheerleaders participated on the receiving end of a flu shot clinic, provided by the UNM Health Pediatrics Department as a way of protecting the community and a fellow player battling illness.
The annual program, held each year in July, pits teams of players agains't each other to lift weights and raise money for the Children's Cancer Fund of New Mexico.
In 2018, eighty-seven La Cueva football players, representing all 3 program level teams, participated in the Lift-a-Thon and lifted over 67,000 pounds. The 87 players broke off into 5 teams to compete and complete for their personal bests.

Through community support and financial commitments, the La Cueva program donated $600 to the Children's Cancer Fund of New Mexico.
Saranam Community Service - Players participated in a day of giving back by volunteering their time to help support the housing needs of Albuquerque's homeess families.
